WORLD NOMADS TRAVEL PHOTOGRAPHY SCHOLARSHIP

World Nomad is looking for an aspiring, passionate photographer to send on a trip to Mongolia to be mentored by Canon Master Richard I'Anson. During this 10-day scholarship opportunity, you'll capture the unique celebration of nomadic culture at the Naadam Festival.

WAGENINGEN UNIVERSITY & RESEARCH 2020 AFRICA SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME (ASP) FOR YOUNG AFRICAN STUDENTS (FULLY FUNDED TO WAGENINGEN, THE NETHERLANDS)

Application Deadline: 1 February 2020
The Africa Scholarship Programme (ASP) has been initiated by Wageningen University & Research to allow talented and motivated students from Africa to study in Wageningen.
With this programme, Wageningen wants to support capacity building in Africa by attracting excellent students for a 2-years master’s programme.
Eligibility for the scholarship: Excellent students with a GPA of 80 per cent or higher in a bachelor degree, and admitted to a Wageningen University MSc Programme.
Components of the scholarship:
Travel to and from Wageningen
Living allowance for 2 years
Tuition fee
Visa costs and costs for health insurance
Budget to visit one seminar/conference in Europe
Participation in the ‘Reach your full potential’ programme

AFRICA-UK: FEMALE TECH FOUNDERS 2020 PROGRAMME FOR WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS (FULLY FUNDED TO THE UNITED KINGDOM)

Application Deadline: 21 November 2019 at 5 pm (GMT)
The International Tech Hub Network is launching Africa-UK: Female Tech Founders 2020. The programme will bring 15 of the continent’s most ambitious development-focused women entrepreneurs to the UK in January. If you are based in Nigeria, Kenya or South Africa, you could gain access to excellent mentoring, 1:1 time with UK investors and expert training to help scale your company. 

ELIGIBILITY:
1. Female founder leading a company within any tech sub-sector
2. Can demonstrate a clear business model
3. MVP product or prototype (i.e. must be fully operating in the market)
4. Can demonstrate clear social impact potential
5. Can demonstrate a commitment to strengthen the local ecosystem by passing on learnings to other startups
6. Ambition to expand internationally in the future
The programme will be delivered alongside Africa Investment Summit, taking place in London on 20 January. We expect winners to be able to attend the Summit.
