MS. Geek Africa competition 2020 for Young African Girls (cash prizes plus funded trip to transform Africa summit 

Deadline: 29th February 2020
The competition is aimed at inspiring more girls into science, technology, engineering and maths(STEM) by devising solutions to challenges faced in their community and across Africa.
Finalist undergoes an intensive training program conducted by successful entrepreneurs.
The training equips them with presentation, public speaking and critical thinking skills to prepare them for the competition.
  • All finalist have equal opportunity to learn and prepare for the day, and each of them will go home with a laptop and other prizes 
  • They also get an opportunity to participate in the transform Africa Summit where they interact with many industry leaders and their governments. aAll expenses are covered for all selected finalists.
  • The top three winners will be awarded cash prizes.
  • Open to girls between the age of 13 to 21 years 
  • Be as a citizen of one of the summits Africa members states; Niger, Benin. Faso, Algeria etc.
  • Contestants must be available to travel to the republic of guinea between April19-23 2020 for training and transform Africa summit

The learn zone foundation seeks outgoing and approachable volunteer to participate in the Readers are Leader campaign week. Volunteer is expected to reach out to the school to educate and inspire a student to rekindle the love for reading.

You will gain great experience in volunteering, communication, teamwork, and leadership. 
You will be rewarded a certificate of participation upon completion of your volunteering assignment.

MASSACHUSETTS INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (MIT) Legatum Center Fellowship programme 2020-2021 for Aspiring Entrepreneurs (funded)

Deadline: 2nd March 2020
The Legatum fellowship is a competitions program designed to help aspiring entrepreneurs gain a world-class education at MIT, as well as an extensive member and community support in order, maximize their likelihood of success as a principal impactful leader in an emerging market.


  • Applicant must either be a current MIT student who will still be enrolled for the year-long duration of the fellowship or admitted to begin a(full-time)degree program at MIT in the fall semester of the coming academic year.
  • They are looking for principal, innovative leaders who have a track record for driving change and can demonstrate a commitment to improving lives in the developing world.

The annual Pitch Hub Competition for innovators showcases ingenuity, entrepreneurship and a clear value proposition.
the competition aims at engaging startups and entrepreneurs and to create a space for innovate at I4C.
Supporting climate-smart cities those that are low-caron and climate-resilient is a critical part of addressing climate change.
